CURRENT MOON

Current Weather: The heat has swept through the forest and taken many plants with it. As the skies open up and the earth tilts the heat has escaped and the forest it cooling down. Days are comfortable and nights are chilled and each morning the dew is heavier. The sun beats harder but not hotter. Enjoy it while it lasts.

[ ]Boggs
A very muddy plain that has hardly ny sloping at all. The thick gray sludge will stain paws and belly-fur for nearly a moon; unless bathed off by a river or stream. There are a few trees; most of their roots grow above ground, as they don't need much in the swampy ground to soak up enough water. it hardly ever rains there, but it stays thick muck. Kits and young apprentices that are lightweight may be able to cross without getting anything but their pads wet. There are a few dry "islands" that are useful for training how to balance weight so as not to get as much of their bodies wet.

[ ]Chime's Branch
Here is where a lonely she-owl sits nightly, hooting for her lost mate. She has only had one egg, which died shortly after hatching. The cats sometimes feel pity for the she-owl, they tend to stay away from her tree so as the prey will be more plentiful for her. She tends to stay clear of the camp, but when she does venture by, it is typically only because a hawk or other feathered predator is preying upon the cats. She thinks of teh cats as her lost hatchlings. The Tribe calls her Chime, for her song is very peaceful, yet full of sorrow that sometimes is hard to bear. All cats must be introduced to Chime before they can do anything else out of the camp; she will attack any that she does not know. She speaks a small amount of cat.

[ ]Dryland
This is a bit of land where the grass grows tall enough to cover a full-grown cat, standing on its hind-legs. This area is sought after by the Tribe of Many Leaves, as it is situated right behind their borders. The prey runs thickly here, but the occasional venomous snake can be found nesting in a tight ball around some soft blades of grass. The Tribe of Raised Roots keeps a tight watch on the area as the Tribe of Many Leaves has been caught under many-a-leader sending patrols to hunt there. Unfortunately, sinde the grass is so tall and so unpredictable in pattern, it is a rotten place to battle as your opponent can easily get lost by the swaying blades of purple tinted grass. A few herbs can be found here; Lavender is plentiful here.

This is the only place where ToML cats are allowed without a planned battle about to occur.

[ ]Blue River
Here is a small river that runs into the Tribe of Riveted Root's Territory. It's so pure, it looks blue and you can see most of the bottom, except for the middle where it is deeper.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Maze
this is the area most often traveled by Straight-Bellies. They stomp through the thinner bracken, seemingly just to see how far in they can get before bleeding too much or getting too tanlged. Learners enjoy running through the paths tromped down by the Straight-Bellies. The younger ones must be escorted until they are sure of their way back to camp. The bracken gets thicker and many couples come here to be alone.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Tearing of Saplings
Straight-Bellies only come here during Thick-fur. They cut down the pine trees, no matter how tall, nor short the trees. Many times the trees are cut hardly more than Saplings. The Straight-Bellies chop away and them until the area is hardly more than the Boggs, but with more reliable ground. The soil is mainly a soft black, but after the Straight-Bellies take the cover and protection of the trees away, the Straight-Bellies put small white pellets in the ground that are poisonous to cats. The pellets are put down right after the trees are cut, but before new ones are planted.

Tribe of Riveted Bark
[ ]Camp
Here is where the ToRB stays.
00
[ ]Forest of Shade
A vast patch of dark forest situated at the lowest portion of the Tribe of Riveted Bark's Territory. The floor of the forest is typically dry under-paw as the thick layers of leaves keep the mud from coming through. The trees grow thick in this close-knit forest, the branches shading most light from ever touching the leafy floor.
00
[ ]Valley of Flowers
This is a wide open valley with many herbs and flowers growing all throughout. It consists of much tall dried grass, the sun beats down from the moments it rises until the heartbeat it sets as there are hardly any trees surrounding the area; plus it is so large an area that the scarce trees around it give little shade to it anyways.
00
[ ]Scorch of Brambles
This is the area surrounding the far end of the Valley of Flowers. There was a terrible fire, many seasons before any of the Tribe cats can remember. The stories of it are kept alive through the Kit-Raisers, as they tell the story to all the kits of the Nursery. The area has fully re-grown, but will always be known as Scorch of Brambles.
00
[ ]Cove of Moon
Cove of Moon is a half-circle lagoon on the edge of their territory. It is facing the west, so right before the sun breaks the horizon; the moon shines on it longer than most areas. The water there is a murky brown during the day; but at night the water truly comes alive with the dancing of stars upon the surface of the water.
00
[ ]Land of Shadow
Almost identical to the Forest of Shade, the Lands of Shadow have very thick trees. The difference is that the Lands of Shadow are in a low part at the base of the back corner of this Tribe's territory, it is lower than any other area of the Clan territory. A thick, dense fog, which makes it hard to see, immediately starts rolling in as soon as the last rays of sun set.

[ ]Border with the Tribe of Swaying Branches
A small area of forest that extends into the Tribe of Swaying Branches Territory; typical of most borders.

[ ]Shores of Sand
Okay, so it's not much of a shore, but the ground around this small stream gets very sandy around here. The stream isn't usually deep enough for fish, but the occasional frog can be found here.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Edge of Rocks
This is close to the border with the Tribe of Many Leaves, but not quite. It's a thick forest, but it's got many boulders and rocks laying around here. Watch your step because what looks like dirt, may not be! Apprentices must be escorted here until they understand how most of the way works.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Drop of Death
This is a vastly straight drop down into a very jagged, pointy rocks in deep water. The water churns violently and seemingly pushes so hard against the cliffside that it looks like it is trying to move them. Many cats have been killed here; whether by the feirce fall, the raging waves, the claw-sharp points, or the sheer-terror of falling. Bodies have a watery grave as no cat has yet to figure out a way to get down to retrieve the bodies.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Meadow of Ticks
This is a very breezy area of their territory. Lavender and other tall herbs grow here, and sway visciousely, yet gracefully, in the wind. Although it's name suggests that many ticks reside here, they do not, as hardly any short grass grows here and there aren't any Antlered that come by. The meadow is very pretty, and hides many crickets.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Ledge of Songs
At the opposite edge of the Tribe of Swaying Branches' Territory sits a magnificent cliff, overlooking a giant drop down into a rocky shoreline. The cliff is made of purple and red dirt, making it look like it's reflecting the sunset. The cliffside has many crags in it, each fairly easy to get down to. The wind whistles in and out of these crags, making a song faint enough some even wonder if they've really heard it.

[ ]Border with the Tribe of Riveted Bark

[ ]Overlook
Here is a large ledge that, as long as you don't get too close to the edge, is a marvelous spot to watch the sunrise. The ledge is large enough for nearly the entire Tribe to gather on, but haven't had to so far. The Overlook glances half over the valleys and half over the sparkling ocean.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Steep of Stones
This is the area leading down to the Jagged of Points. It is a very sharp hill that many a fox, wolf, badger, and cat have died. The ground is mainly solid rock, but occasionally there will be an earthquake and small pebbles will be shaken loose, making the ground even harder to cling to.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Rocks of Heart
Here is a gentle slope covered with many soft pebbles. The pebbles range from different pastel colors. They are all very shiny and some of them are said to look like hearts. This is a great place to watch the sunset.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Jagged of Points
This is an area that has little to no undergrowth, only tall mounds jutting out of the ground. Many thorn bushes grow here. A few wolves like to hang out here, they seem to always be battling it out with the foxes.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Field of Crags
A rocky valley of flowers that has many mounds where previous prey has nested. This is the best place to grab herbs, but many snakes like to bask ontop of the crags.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Border with the Tribe of Swaying Branches
A small bit of forest that serves as the border between these two Tribes.

Places of Peace
[ ]The Telling Place
Here is where the Four Tribes gather to tell about what has gone on in their Tribe since the last Telling. These aren't always at full-moon; the Tellers get a sign of when the Telling is supposed to be, then the Tribe's take the cats they want to the Telling.

The area is a gentle beach with a fallen log on it. The log is solid all the way through; this is were the Teller's make their speechs.

[ ]Pool of Ebony
This is a shiny black puddle of water that reflects the stars above at night. The Tellers must drink from it to speak with the Tribe of Shining Stars
Moderator: JaggedBark

Scaller's territory
[ ]Shining Pool
This is a beautiful pond that sparkles when the sun is out. The meadow around it is beautiful, but the pond-like pool is like a glistening sapphire. It's surrounded by cattails, ferns and watermint. The pond is great for swimming or drinking; and it is filled with many golden fish.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Abandoned Straight-Belly Den
This is a somewhat rotten and burnt two-story twoleg den that was originally made of wood. The Straight-Belly that lived there died some time ago, and apparently no one cared about him, because his front door stands open and his bones are still sitting in the rocking chair by his fire-pit.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Bramble Thicket
A shady thicket that has many thorns and the occasional rose from a near-dead bush of roses.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
Roamer's Territory
[ ]Feild of Redwoods
This is a sort of Straight-Belly campground. It's filled with many tall trees that don't have enough low branches to climb, but plenty of them are hollowed out at the bottom, and those that aren't hollow at the bottom, are hollow some tail-lengths up!
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Tree of Apples
This is a very large apple tree, somewhat close to the Scaller's territory, but isn't technically in it. It used to belong to the Straight-Belly who lived in the den.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]The Fields
A stretch of windblown moorland where hares race, covered with gorse and heather. A stream tumbles down through the thick, springy vegetation. A place for friendly cats to gather and chat with one another.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
Entertainer's Territory
[ ]Town
A quaint little town sits by the edge of the land. The Straight-Bellies are always nice here, even to the Tribe cats, even though they aren't as pretty as their Entertainers. Several houses can be found here.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]The Play-House
Here is what we Straight-Bellies like to call, PETSMART(c). This is a fun place to play with many toys, there are even mice in boxes to make them easier to catch! But be weary, not only are there cats here, but very big dogs.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Harbour
Here is where many Straight-Bellies keep their Water-Gliders. Cats, if they can get onto it, are free to get on any Water-Glider they want. Tribe cats have never been this far into Straight-Belly Territory before.
Moderator: JaggedBark
00
[ ]Streets
The Straight-Bellies have a very layed back neighborhood, therefore, everyone knows everyone and no body pays any mind to the cats that roam the streets.
